Please note: The date in June 2022 will be a face-to-face course. Further information will be included with the joining instructions. Other dates are online courses delivered through MS Teams. This course aims to support managers understand their roles and responsibilities in the recruitment process. It will help managers fulfil their responsibilities in the recruitment of staff to roles working with children. Course is valid for five years. Target groupThis is advanced training for specialist roles, managers, supervisors overseeing child protection cases and named designated professionals. This training is aimed at members of interview panels who recruit to roles working with children. Although the focus of the training is on children, the principles of this training are also applicable to those who recruit to roles working with vulnerable adults/adults at risk.
