In the past year several recurring learning themes have been identified in reviews views and audits conducted in Swindon.

This webinar is an opportunity to find out more about:

  • The recurring learning themes identified in local safeguarding reviews and audits.
  • Those themes include:
  • Lack of professional curiosity
  • Voice of the child
  • Failure to recognise or understand some types of abuse, intersectionality of abuse and risks.
  • Professional practice
  • Implications for practice

Signposting to resources available for practitioners to support professional development

This event is open to everyone from across the Swindon Safeguarding Partnership. 

It will be relevant to anyone working with or supporting children, young people and their parents/carers. Some of the learning themes highlighted are also relevant to those working with or supporting adults at risk.
