Please note that this is not the mandatory training for the SBC staff and is aimed at partner agencies only.
This workshop focuses on how to write an outcome-based plan, which is jargon free and focuses on the impact on the child of the parents behaviour and how a successful plan impacts directly on the child’s presentation. It is about how we bring the child to the centre of our work whilst working collaboratively and in partnership with parents. It will assist you to start thinking about how we can write the plan with the child or family, wherever they are in the system, whether it is early help or child protection. This session is facilitated by Terri Cartwright, Practice Lead Safeguarding, Childrens Services, Swindon Borough Council. This will be relevant to all frontline professionals who work with children and families and attend child protection conferences. |
