Course information

The aims are to enable delegates to:

  • gain an understanding of Early Intervention (help) and who it is for
  • identify and evidence a graduated response to support
  • understand the importance of a graduated response
  • know when to start an Early Help Conversation and feel confident to do so
  • know how to complete an Early Help Conversation and Plan
  • formulate a multi-agency plan
  • have an understanding of the Lead Professional role and your part in the Team Around the Family (TAF) review meetings

Target group

This is for all staff working with children, young people and/or their parents/carers who could potentially contribute to assessing and planning for the needs of the whole family.
