Domestic abuse doesn’t always begin in adulthood. 

White Ribbon day was on the 25 November 2025, and this year’s theme was to raise awareness about preventing gender-based violence. You can find out more about this initiative on the White Ribbon Day 2025 website.

This begins the 16 Days of Action campaign - 25th November – 10th December 2025. The local theme as part of this year’s 16 Days of Action campaign is to help reduce domestic abuse and promote healthy relationships among children and young people.
