Annual report

Swindon Safeguarding Partnership publishes the Annual Report to provide an overview of safeguarding activity against the partnership’s strategic priorities. It outlines the challenges, achievements, and areas for improvement across Swindon’s safeguarding system.

The report is shared with the Chief Executive of Swindon Borough Council, Leader of the Council, Cabinet Portfolio Holders, Community Safety Partnership Executives, the Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board and with the National Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel.

This is the fourth annual report following the implementation of the new partnership arrangements in July 2019. It has been prepared on behalf of the three statutory partners, Swindon Borough Council (SBC), BSW Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Wiltshire Police. The statutory partners are responsible for co-ordinating, quality assuring and improving activity to safeguard children, young people and adults with care and support needs living in Swindon.

Reports for previous years under previous partnership arrangements are available on request from Swindon Safeguarding Partnership.
