Child sexual exploitation

Sexual exploitation affects thousands of children and young people across the UK every year.

As a parent or carer, you could have an important role to play in protecting children from exploitation. The Barnardo's website has information that helps to raise awareness of sexual exploitation and reduce the number of child victims.

Parents against child sexual exploitation (Pace)

Pace, in partnership with Virtual College, has launched an interactive online information package for parents on the signs of child sexual exploitation. This free tool is designed to equip parents with the information and knowledge to safeguard children from this abuse. For further information, go to the Pace UK website.
