South West Child Protection Procedures

Swindon Safeguarding Partnership has worked with all other partnership's across the South West to develop a set of shared Child Protection Procedures.

To find what you are looking for, please visit the South West Child Protection Procedures(SWCPP) website. The website contains the SWCPP standard operating procedures. There are step-by-step instructions about what to do when you are worried about a child and quick links to areas such as Assessment, Looked After Children, Child Protection and Key Policies.

You can search for specific safeguarding issues such as Domestic Abuse, Child Sexual Exploitation or Female Genital Mutilation and/or get general guidance on information sharing, recording and making referrals.

Please do make sure when on the website that you register for alerts. In this way you will receive an email when new or revised content is added.
