Adult and children resolution policy
Professional disagreements are a common theme in local child and adult safeguarding reviews and audits.
The Swindon Safeguarding Partnership Adult and Children Resolution Policy (Escalation Process) sets out a five-stage process for resolving disagreements in a structured, respectful and productive way.
It is designed to make sure disagreements do not delay or compromise the safety of adults, children or families. It also helps professionals resolve disagreements quickly, respectfully and at the lowest appropriate level.
Read the policy
If you work with adults, children or families, read the policy and appendix.
