The Swindon Domestic Abuse Forum provides an opportunity for all professionals working in Swindon to network, share learning and best practice when responding to domestic abuse.  

The sessions will be relevant for all professionals working to safeguard children, adults and survivors of domestic abuse.

Session details:

This session will provide an opportunity for practitioners to receive updates on the following work happening in Swindon regarding domestic abuse:

  • NSPCC ‘Speak Out Stay Safe Programme – Sarah Smith  NSPCC Schools Coordinator
  • Lived Experience Survey Preliminary Findings – Jo-Ann Smith  
  • Family Safeguarding Model Update 
  • Courts Process for Domestic Abuse Victims (Report findings) – Soroptimists 
  • Therapeutic Services for Victims of Sexual Violence and Assault - FearFree  
  • Update on Sixteen Days of Action – Lin Williams 

This session will be facilitated virtually via MS Teams.

Please note: This is not a training session and certificates will not be provided. If you require proof of attendance, please keep a copy of your Eventbrite booking and joining instructions. You will also have the option of downloading your completed evaluation form responses.
