Course information

The Swindon Domestic Abuse Forum provides an opportunity for all professionals working in Swindon to network, share learning and best practice when responding to domestic abuse.  

The sessions will be relevant for all professionals working to safeguard children, adults and survivors of domestic abuse.

First session details:

The session in March will provide an opportunity for practitioners to receive updates on the following topics and the work happening in Swindon:

  • Update on Violence Against Women and Girls
  • Update on Safer Streets
  • Update on Domestic Abuse Act
  • New Community Safety and Safeguarding Partnership arrangements
  • Update on perpetrator work in Swindon
  • Update on SSP training offer
  • Presentation of the work of the Medaille Trust – Refuge and Freedom from Modern Slavery

This session will be facilitated virtually via MS Teams.
