SSP is supporting Safer Internet Day on 8 February 2022
Published: Wednesday, 19th January 2022
We're supporting this year's global day of awareness on the theme ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’.
Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally each year and is coordinated by the UK Safer Internet Centre.
The aim is to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people, and to inspire a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically, and creatively. It celebrates young people’s role in creating a safer internet, whether that is whilst gaming and creating content, or interacting with their friends and peers.
The theme for this year's event, which lands on 8 February 2022, is ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’.
