Course information

Training delivered in a virtual classroom on Zoom.

Target group

This module is suitable for staff working in a wide variety of frontline practice roles across a range of agencies. It will be beneficial to those who come into contact with people at risk and need to signpost or refer them on to appropriate services. These may include personnel from emergency services, voluntary agencies providing advice and support and those in allied healthcare roles.

This half-day virtual workshop provides the essentials of good practice with people who self-neglect or display hoarding behaviours.

Please note: If you require an in-depth understanding of self-neglect and hoarding behaviours the specialist Safeguarding and self-neglect/hoarding behaviours module may be more appropriate.

You do not need to complete the core module before completing the specialist module. The course content for each module draws on the same source material, but is covered in more depth and has some additional content on the specialist module.

If you are unsure which module to attend, please review the course information below.
