Swindon Safeguarding Partnership

This is the first Swindon Safeguarding Annual Report following the implementation of the new partnership arrangements in July 2019. It has been prepared on behalf of the three statutory partners from Swindon Borough Council (SBC), BSW Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Wiltshire Police and an Independent Chair. The statutory partners are responsible for co-ordinating, quality assuring and improving activity to safeguard children, young people and adults with care and support needs living in Swindon.  This annual report provides an overview of safeguarding activity against the Swindon Safeguarding Partnership’s strategic priorities for 2019/20.  It outlines the challenges, achievements, and areas for improvement to support good outcomes for children, families and adults with care and support needs at risk.
